Really pleasant place to swim! Nice beach as seen in the photo. Birdwatching is great parking in the lot facing the bridge. This bridge over the Colorado River is an original connection between California and Arizona. I like to park that way in the shade of the freeway over head to eat my lunch. The shaded parking area is a real treat in the summer and watching families enjoying the day on the beach below is pleasant as well.

Wonder river park ! Been coming here for years with my grandmother . She loved to come here and float the river . Nice clean sand and great place to cool down in the summer heat . Will always remember my fond memories here .

An amazing though dusty little trek on the Lower Colorado. Great signage on the history of the area, easy parking though I was told it can get mobbed in less heat.

Nice place to swim in the river and have a picnic/cookout. There are many nice walking trails along the river.

Great place to get out of the heat and play in the water with shade. We really had a great time. It was pretty clean. We got there at 12pm and found parking easily. Cars were circling when we left at 3pm. The current wasn't too bad and we were able to float down the river and walk back in the water against the current without too much a hard time. We will definitely be back.
